About Julie Crespel
After completing a degree in visual communication, Julie’s photographic addiction started on a one year world trip that turned into 10 years of travelling and photographing around the globe. Setting up studio in Tahiti for 7 years, and one year in France and Hawaii, contributed to the innovative style of Julie’s images influenced by all walks of life and cultures.
Following a freelance career spanning 20 years in advertising, fashion and editorial, Julie joined the Bauer Media photography team (previously ACP Magazines) for 6 years. This editorial experience combined with a background in art direction in advertising, gave Julie the ability to take on a large variety of commissions, working with some of the country’s best creatives to deliver work of the high standards her clients have come to expect.
Enjoying the Sydney life, and locally based for the last 14 years, she is currently working in advertising and publishing, shooting fashion, interiors, portaits, lifestyle, and food. Constantly searching to create images that inspire, Julie’s experience and commitment to capturing the creative vision of her clients is reflected in the quality of her work.
